I was told by Kevin that Mike Williams had passed away some time last week. He had been residing in San Francisco after landing his dream job at Macromedia in 2000. Since his move up there, I have had only a few occasions to meet up with him. It ended up that he sat next to a couple of other friends as cube mates at Adobe. Very small world indeed.
I remember him as being energetic and driven as well as brash. He was always the youngest person in the group. He also introduced me to Tenacious D of all things.
I feel for his family and for all of his friends. This is a guy that could not make an enemy if he tried.
